More Muzic Radio

Just a quick line to thank you all.
This week after your kind donations from THE FENLAND BUS SHOW we have donated £100 to a great local charity that works with children. Next year. Although moving away from Whittlesey, we have something really special supporting our Current Armed Forces and Veterans.
Hopefully you and more will support us in 2026
Thanks again.

Hi

Your local award winning community radio station raising funds for both local and military charities this year. Thanks to your support at both the Bus Show and Armed Forces Weekend meant that the small profits made have part funded some of the artistes for this event.

THANK YOU.

I’m writing to share some wonderful news and to express our continued commitment to serving our Whittlesey community. Last night, our very own More Muzic Community Radio was honored with the Teamwork Award at the Fenland Business Awards in March! We were absolutely thrilled and humbled by this recognition, and it truly reflects the dedication and passion of our entire team.
As you all know, we strive to be more than just a radio station. We’re a vital part of the fabric of Whittlesey, and we take our role in supporting our community very seriously. Throughout the year, we’re dedicated to bringing people together through a variety of initiatives:
• We fill our beautiful local churches with music through our community concerts, creating moments of shared joy and connection.
• We shine a light on our town’s rich history and vibrant present by arranging and promoting film shows that celebrate our local communities.
• Our Armed Forces weekend, which has grown into a cherished four-day event, honours our veterans and brings our community together with live entertainment, living history displays, stalls, and marching bands.
This year, we’re especially honoured to be working alongside St. Mary’s Church, the local Army Cadets, and the Royal British Legion to organise a very special Remembrance service on Friday, November 7th. It will be a deeply moving tribute to the fallen, featuring classic singers, entertainers, and a magnificent 50-piece choir. We are working hard to make this a very memorable event.
I’m truly excited to share the full lineup with you at next month’s council meeting, where I’ll be able to provide more details about this important event.
Thank you for your ongoing support of More Muzic Community Radio. We are proud to be a part of Whittlesey and are committed to serving our community with passion and dedication.
Warmly,
Matt Page

Hi everyone,
Just a quick update and a big thank you from all of us at More Muzic Radio here in Whittlesey.
After much thought, we’ve decided that in 2026 our Bus Show will move to Peterborough, joining the Armed Forces Day celebrations.because after our success this year the original team want to come back { I only hope that fulfill where we left off }
We’re thrilled to be working with Peterborough City Council and the Armed Forces Day team to make “Buses on Parade” — a bigger event with space for up to 70 buses! We’re proud to have achieved what we set out to do — reinventing the event for Whittlesey — and we’ll continue to support our town wherever we can.
We will still be helping St Mary’s Church with their Armed Forces weekend, so please reach out if I can be of any help. Thanks to your amazing support, we’ve hosted many successful events that have benefited our community and local charities — something we can all be proud of.
We’re also excited about the growing success of the “Whittlesey Voice” magazine (expanding in the new year!) and the upcoming “Tribute to Valour Show” at St Mary’s Church on 7th November — featuring a 52-piece choir, West End vocalist, and a Parade of Standards. All funds raised will go to St Mary’s Church, the RBL, and the Army Cadets.
From the whole team — thank you for your continued support. We couldn’t have done it without you!
With gratitude,
Matt Page and the team.
