“On behalf of More Muzic Radio, we want to express our sincere thanks to Whittlesey Town Council and all the supporting companies for helping us organise the first Fenland Bus Show in our town centre.
As you know, our community radio station took on the challenge of bringing Busfest back to life after its former organisers announced its discontinuation due to lack of applicants. We’ve proven that with community spirit and support, it’s more than possible! The day was a tremendous success for Whittlesey, with local businesses thriving and our community showing incredible support. We were particularly pleased to offer a free afternoon tea and bus ride for individuals with memory illness, which was very well received.
A huge debt of gratitude is owed to the bus owners and bus and coach companies who dedicated their time to the event. Their commitment means we can confirm the next Fenland Bus Show for 2026 on SUNDAY 7th JUNE 2026
The fantastic turnout from the Whittlesey townspeople and successful programme sales mean we’re in a strong position for next year, with additional sponsorship already secured. Whittlesey Town Council, your crucial support was a cornerstone in establishing this wonderful annual event for our town.
