Dear Colleague/Partner
We would like to remind you of our next set of Voluntary Group Networking Meetings for March, Whittlesey, Wisbech and Chatteris. We have already had a great response, but just in case you were coming along, and had forgotten to tell us, we thought we would send a gentle reminder. As you know, these meetings are a great way for local organisations to get together and network, (large and small), giving an opportunity to share successes and challenges, to talk about good practise and to share all ideas about those important matters such as funding and volunteering! You are welcome to attend the ones you feel more relevant to you and your organisation, or indeed to attend all !
Our next Wisbech Meeting will be will be on Tuesday 3rd March at Wisbech Job Centre, Albion Place, Wisbech, PE13 1AN , 10am to 12pm . We thought this would be a great way for you to see a different venue, together with forging our links with both the Job Centre Staff who of course are working with people looking for work and Volunteering.
The Whittlesey meeting will be at the Whittlesey Library on the 5th March, 10am to 12pm . Our speaker for this meeting will be a representative (s) from The National Lottery, and there will be an opportunity for questions and more of an insight into their work including how the Lottery are keen to fund projects in our area.
The Chatteris Meeting will be held on Tuesday 10th March at The Council Chambers, 14 Church Lane, Chatteris , 10am to 12pm . Our speaker for this meeting will be a representative (s) from The National Lottery, and there will be an opportunity for questions and more of an insight into their work including how the Lottery are keen to fund projects in our area.
The March Meeting will be held on Wednesday 11th March, at the Braza Club, Elm Road March, 10am to 12pm. Our speaker for this meeting will be Sarah Marshall from Cambridgeshire Community Foundation. There will be an opportunity for questions and more of an insight into their work including current local projects they are funding and how they are keen to fund other projects in our area.
As usual, we would love you have you attend and would be grateful if you could please reply via this email, if you haven’t already done so. Please feel free to forward this email onto anyone you feel may be interested, and apologies if we have sent more than one invitation to your organisation !
Thank you and hope to see you soon.
Sarah and Marija
